Heavenly Punch

Cathy Nunn

I was a bartender for over twenty years and I have concocted some of the weirdest drinks, mostly by accident, but this day, I was in the mood for a refreshing drink. I love Chardonnay, but didn't want wine necessarily, but the lightbulb clicked in my head... So I started mixing. This is a wonderful and refreshing punch to enjoy as a cocktail, or to make a punchbowl full. It is HEAVENLY!!

    chardonnay wine, well chilled
  • ·
ocean spray cran-cherry drink, also well chilled. (i use the diet ocean spray.)
  • 1 slice
orange - i used a small navel orange.

How to Make Heavenly Punch

  1. In a well chilled wine glass, fill half full with cold Chardonnay. Fill the rest of the way with the Ocean Spray Cran-Cherry drink. Garnish with a slice of orange.
  2. NOTE: If you wish, you could make a punchbowl full to serve at any event. Just follow the instructions and make a 50/50 mix of Chardonnay to Cran-Cherry drink and then add some ice and then float several orange slices on top. It is ready to serve! If you want to make it sparkly, add a little Club soda (optional).
