1 largelime, cut into 4 wedges
·kosher salt (optional)
1 cruby red grapefruit juice
1/2 cfresh squeezed lime juice (from about 4 limes)
1 corange liqueur (such as triple sec)
1 cwhite tequila
How to Make Grapefruit Margarita
- If you like salt on glasses, rub a lime around the edge of the glass rims, then dip rims of each glass in a plate of kosher salt. Set aside to dry for a few minutes.
- Combine the grapefruit juice, lime juice, orange liqueur and ice in a blender, and puree until smooth. Pour into a large pitcher and stir in the tequila.
- If you're not serving the margaritas in salted glasses, stir 1/4 teaspoon of salt into the pitcher of margaritas. Believe me, it will make a difference!
