I had never had Sangria before. My friends had came over for an all girls night. We thought the Sangria was a little boring so, combining the lemonade and the wine, we decided to take it up a notch and this is the result. I hope you guys enjoy!
1slice lemons in half; using a juicer, squeeze juice from lemons; set aside; combine sugar and 1 cup of water to make a simple syrup; stir water and sugar until sugar is dissolve and just till water comes to a boil; remove from heat; add lemon juice and stir; in a blender put half of the blueberries and pulse for a few seconds; strain juice and discard seeds and skins; in a large pitcher, combine water, ice cubes, simple syrup and blueberries; stir; put a handful of the blueberries in with the lemonade and allow to chill
2While lemonade is chilling, cut up strawberries and drain pineapple juice and discard (or use if you wish; toss pineapple and strawberries in a bowl; in wine glasses put a spoonful of fruit mixture; add half lemonade and half wine. If desired, wine, lemonade and fruit can be combined in the same container.
