Ingredients

  • GARNISH:
  • - water
  • - green sanding sugar
  • 8 balls - cantaloupe
  • 8 balls - honeydew melon
  • 8 balls - watermelon
  • MARGARITAS:
  • 3 cups honeydew melon balls, frozen
  • 2 cups margarita mix
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1 cup midori melon liqueur
  • 4 cups ice cubes

How To Make frozen melon margaritas

  • Step 1
    Using a melon baller, scoop out 3 C of honeydew melon & freeze about 6 hours or overnight.
  • Step 2
    GARNISH: Using a melon baller, scoop out 8 balls each of cantaloupe, honeydew & watermelon. Thread one of each on 8 cocktail straws. Set aside. Dip rims of 8 margarita glasses into water & then dip into green sanding sugar. Set aside.
  • Step 3
    In blender, add frozen honeydew balls, margarita mix, tequila & midori; puree. Divide mixture in 1/2 & add 2 C ice into each 1/2 & puree until slushy. Divide mixture amoung the 8 glasses. Garnish with melon ball skewers.
