Found this recipe 7-8 Years ago in a magazine and have been making these for "Gifts" for Friends every year since. I get started early, so they are definately flavored, for Use during the Holidays. These are very simple gifts, that you will ever make.
Note: These can be stored in refer for 4-5 months with the fruit in the bottles.

How to Make "Flavored Vodka"

Step-by-Step

  1. pour 1 bottle Vodka into each 3 clean 2 litter glass containers with lids.
  2. To make Pineapple Vodka:
    Slice the Pineapple into 1/2" sliced rings. Arrange in wide mouth container, such as a canning jar. Pour the Vodka from one bottle over the Pineapple, let cure in the refer for 2 weeks.
  3. To make Cranberry Vodka:
    Rinse Cranberries.
    Place them int one container of Vodka. Let cure in Refer or COOL Dark place for 3 weeks.
  4. To Make Orange Vodka:
    Cut the orange in 1/2. Now cut each in 1/2 again, to create quarters. Slice each quarter into 1/4 " Thick wedges. Place wedges into container and add vodka over top.. . .toss. Let cure in refer or COOL DARK place for 3 weeks.
  5. If giving these as gifts;
    You can either Leave the Fruits in the Bottles, OR, Strain fruit, & discard. Neat to see a little of the fruits left in the bottles. Just so you know which is which flavor.
    use a funnel to pour back into their original vodka gift bottles.
    Print out Fancy gift labels, place a ribbon on each bottle, and serve cold. . . or with 7-up.

    These make very good gifts for the person who has everything! . . . fun to make.
