This cocktail is fantastic. It was taught to us by a professional chef during a cooking class we took in Mexico. It sounds really weird but it's actually wonderful! Cheers!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 1 1/2 ounces cointreau orange liqueur
  • 2 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 slice pineapple in syrup
  • 1 teaspoon tobasco sauce
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

How To Make chef meastro's pineapple & tobasco martini

  • Step 1
    Mix together the tablespoon of sugar and the teaspoon of chili powder. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Blend tequila and cointreau, pineapple and pineapple juice, tobasco sauce, with ice until frozen and blended.
  • Step 3
    Slightly dip the edge of the cup in orange juice.
  • Step 4
    Slightly dip the edge of the cup in the mix of chilli powder and sugar.
  • Step 5
    Garnish with a triangle of fresh pineapple & a cherry if desired.
