I'm not a whiskey lover, but this cocktail always has me coming back for more. Be sure to use a good craft root beer. But in a pinch, A&W will do the trick.

6 ounces craft-style root beer
2 ounces good whiskey (like three roses)

How To Make bourbon & root beer

Step 1

Fill a tall glass with ice. A Collins glass is ideal. Pour the bourbon over the ice.

Step 2

Add the root beer and stir gently. Add a straw. Enjoy!
