With autumn upon us and winter near we are gathering our last harvests for the year. With this comes rituals and family gatherings. Here is some recipes with a store bought liqueur. Sour Apple Pucker is a little bit sweet, a little bit tart, and while it's probably not a "gourmet" liqueur, it adds a nice zip to a lot of cocktails.

How to Make Assorted Halloween drinks
- The Appletini
•3 parts vodka
•1 part Sour Apple Pucker schnapps
•1 splash Rose's Lime Juice
Combine all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker until very cold. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and garnish with a thin slice of green apple. (Optional - rim the glass with a cinnamon and sugar mixture.)
Some recipes call for using sweet and sour mix instead of lime juice, but sour mix will give you a cloudy drink. Lime juice will give you a clear, pale green cocktail. - The Appletini, iPhone Editiion (aka the iPhone-tini)
