I have been trying to come up with a special cocktail for my group of Red Hat Ladies.
First I tried making rhubarb juice (with rhubarb frozen from my garden) along with cranberry juice & vodka etc. Then I ran across a recipe in our newspaper and after I kicked it around & played with it. This beautiful scarlet red martini evolved! Our RED HAT group name is the Scarlett Flozzies!
So knowing that a starving Scarlett O'Hare resorted to grubbing up RADISHES from her garden in the famous "I'll never be hungry again" scene in "Gone With The Wind" A RED HAT SCARLETT FLOZZIE MARTINI was born.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

I love this holiday cocktail! It's not overly sweet. The cranberry juice and lemon balances the sweetness of the cherry juice. This makes a beautiful and tasty cocktail for any occasion. Test Kitchen Avatar The Test Kitchen
