INGREDIENTS

4 cups Buttermilk
•
2 tbsp. hot sauce ( optional)
•
1 tbsp. of kosher salt
•
1 tbsp. freshly ground pepper
•
1 3 to 4 pound chicken cut up into 8 pieces ( or you could cheat like I did and get a pack of thighs and legs.)
•
2 cups of all purpose flour
•
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
•
1 teaspoon of dried marjoram
•
2 tsp. onion powder
•
1 tsp. of garlic powder
•
½ tsp. cayenne
•
1 tbsp. kosher salt
•
1 tbsp. of freshly ground pepper
•
Canola oil ( or a high quality grapeseed oil) for frying
