1/4 C. margarine
1 Tbs. sugar replacement
1/2 C. unsweetened applesauce
2 Tbs. water
1 C. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 C. raisins, chopped
1/4 C. nuts, chopped

How to Make Diabetic Cookies


  • 1Cream together margarine and sugar replacement. Add applesauce and water, stirring to mix well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and cloves in a sifter. Sift dry ingredients into applesauce mixture, stir to blend. Fold in raisins. Drop by teaspoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
