Why use packaged gravy when it so easy to make? I use this gravy for Eggs Benedict and also for biscuits and gravy. Yum!

Ingredients

  • WHITE GRAVY
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • - salt & pepper
  • SAUSAGE GRAVY
  • 1/4 pound sausage

How To Make white and sausage gravy

  • Step 1
    White Gravy:In a sauce pan, make a rue with the butter and flour, let cook for about a minute. Let cool for a bit. Add the milk, stirring constantly over medium heat, bring to a boil, stirring constantly with a heat resistant rubber spatula.
  • Step 2
    Sausage Gravy:Cook the sausage in a sauce pan, drain grease from the sausage. Keeping the sausage in the pan, follow the directions in step 1 by making a rue, etc.
