white chocolate bread pudding
(2 RATINGS)
The only way I can describe this dish is liquid gold. I have never tasted a bread pudding like this. This is also a wonderful dish to take to your office functions or church group meetings. I have never taken a morsel home! An added benefit is you use the storemade French bread at your local deli which is inexpensive and a real time saver as well!

How To Make white chocolate bread pudding
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 inch baker.
-
Step 2Tear French Bread into small pieces and place in a bowl. Pour the 1 quart of heavy whipping cream over the bread pieces and stir. Let stand for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-
Step 3While bread is soaking, beat eggs in a separate bowl. Add sugar and vanilla, mix well. Add one bag of white chocolate chips to egg mixture and stir. After the 15 minutes has passed, add the egg mixture to the bread mixture and stir all together. Pour into prepared baker. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
-
Step 4Once you take the bread pudding out of the oven, mix one cup of heavy whipping cream and the other bag of white chocolate chips in a microwaveable safe bowl/glass measuring cup. Microwave at 30 to 40 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth. Poke holes in bread pudding and pour mixture over the pudding while still warm.
