Another yummy recipe from my Aunt Thelma! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 stick oleo, melted
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 2 packages butterscotch instant pudding mix
  • 1 - 8 ounce tub cool whip
  • 1 cup toffee bits, divided

How To Make toffee bar dessert

  • Step 1
    Mix flour, pecans, sugar, butter, and 1/2 toffee bits in large bowl. Mix and press in bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool.
  • Step 2
    Pour milk into large bowl. Add pudding mix, beat with whisk for 2 minutes. Spread 1 1/2 cups pudding mix on bottom of crust. Gently stir 1/2 whipped topping into remaining pudding. Spread over pudding in pan. Top with remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle with remaining toffee bits. Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
