Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen sliced peaches
  • 6 cups white bread cubes
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 4 - beaten eggs
  • 1-1/4 cup fruit juice(choose juices that are light colored)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond flavoring
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup maraschino cherry halves, drained
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, cut up

How To Make tinucci's best bread pudding

  • Step 1
    Thaw peaches. Don't drain off juice. Cut up peaches. In a large bowl, combine the undrained peaches, white bread cubes and raisins.
  • Step 2
    In another bowl, stir together the eggs, fruit juice, sugar, buttermilk, vanilla & almond flavoring. Pour over bread mixture and fold together.
  • Step 3
    Transfer mixture to a greased 8x8x2" (2 qt) square baking dish. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top, then the cinnamon & cherry halves; dot with butter or margarine.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350^ for 35 to 40 minutes or till a knife inserted off-center comes out clean.
