Us Southerner love our bread pudding and this is a delight!

Ingredients

  • 3 - eggs
  • 3 - egg whites
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 cups cubed raisin bread or frozen french toast sticks, thawed
  • 1/2 cup ginger ale
  • 1 ounce rum
  • - ice cream or whipped cream is optional but oh so good

How To Make southern ginger ale bread pudding

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Beat eggs and egg whites in a large mixing bowl until foamy..
  • Step 3
    Beaat in milk, honey and vanilla.
  • Step 4
    Add ginger ale and rum. Stir in bread cubes.
  • Step 5
    Pour into baking dish and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Step 6
    Topped with ice cream or whipped cream makes it even more delish!
