This is a recipe that I came up with because I wanted to make a light creamy filling for my chocolate cake. When tasting it I said to myself that it tastes just like Chocolate Mousse! Then Voila, my chocolate mousse is born. I won't slave over any other recipe and I serve this on cakes, chocolate cups, wine glasses with a pirouette and it's seems like it's an impressive dessert. Here I am sharing it with you!

yield 6 or fills 1 9 inch round cake or 24 cupcakes frosted.

Ingredients

  • 1 package 4 serving size chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 - 8 oz container of cool whip, thawed

How To Make simple chocolate mousse

  • Step 1
Mix pudding mix and milk in a bowl until it looks thicks and sludgy. Fold in cool whip until completely incorporated. Serve in chocolate cups, wine glasses or frost cupcakes, brownies or middle of 9 inch round cake. Place in refrigerated until ready to serve. I like to put additional cool whip if I am serving in a wine glass with the mousse and place a hazelnut pirouette in the glass. Place the pirouette when you are ready to serve to guests.
