i create this new bread pudding recipe,with a flavor of sharp cheddar cheese,it's great for with the side of baked chicken,potato au gratin and green peas.

- 5 large eggs
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese,divided
- 3 cups milk
- 1 3/4 cups whipped cream cheese,divided
- 1 loaf (1 pound) day-old french bread,cut into 1-inch pieces
How To Make sharp cheddar bread pudding

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Beat eggs,parmesan cheese,onion powder and 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese in a large bowl until blended.Stir in the milk and 3/4 cup whipped cream cheese until smooth.

Step 3Fold in bread pieces.Let stand for 10 minutes.

Step 4Spoon half of bread mixture in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan;sprinkle with 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese.Spread with remaining whipped cream cheese.

Step 5Spoon remaining bread mixture over the whipped cream cheese.Top with remaining shredded sharp cheddar cheese all over the bread mixture.

Step 6Bake,covered,for 20 minutes.Uncover;bake for 20-25 minutes.Serve warm.
