This recipe was given to me by one of my mother's best friends because after tasting it, I had to have the recipe. It is just so creamy and delicious but very time consuming as you have to sit & stir everything on low heat.

Ingredients
- 8 cups milk, whole
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup rice, long grain
- 6 large eggs
- 3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 dash salt
How To Make rice pudding

Step 1Put milk, heavy cream, rice & salt in large pot over low heat. Cook very slowly, stirring continuously until all the rice comes to the top (could take up to 1hr to 1 1/2hr) Remove pot from heat

Step 2Beat eggs, vanilla and sugar together

Step 3Gradually add egg mixture to rice mixture, continue to stir until well blended. Can be eaten warm or cold topped with whipped cream & cinnamon if desired!
