Ingredients

  • 3
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    raisins (i use golden)
  • 1 1/2 c
    cooked white rice
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    grated lemon zest
  • 3 1/3 c
    milk--i use 2%
  • 1 tsp
    grated nutmeg

How to Make Rice Custard Pudding

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Beat eggs and add next six ingredients--place in a 9 x 12 baking pan and sprinkle the top with nutmeg.
  3. Place pan in a hot water bath and cook for 1 1/2 hours or until center is set.
  4. Best served warm with whipped cream.
