My whole family and friends who told me they didn't even like rhubarb love this.It has been in my family for years.

Ingredients

1 c
flour
1 c
sour milk

USE 1 TABLESPOON VINEGAR TO SOUR THE 1 CUP MILK

1/2 c
sugar
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1/4 c
shortening

WE USE BUTTER OR MARGARINE

1 c
sugar

THIS CUP IS POURED ON TOP OF THE BATTER AND RHUBARB

1 c
boiling water
3 c
chopped rhubarb

How to Make Rhubarb Pudding

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix the first 6 ingredients;spread in a 9x13 baking dish or pan.Spread rhubarb;add sugar and boiling water.Dot with butter,cinnamom and nutmeg (optional). Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
