MY LATE HUSBAND AND I WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT LIKED RICE PUDDING. SO THIS IS THE RECIPE I MADE.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk, 2%, divided
  • 1 cup minute rice, uncooked
  • 2/3 cup raisins - [i prefer the golden]
  • 2 packages vanilla instant pudding, - [small pkg.] -sugar free

How To Make quick vanilla rice pudding

  • Step 1
    BOIL: 1 CUP MILK. STIR IN MINUTE RICE AND RAISINS; COVER. LET STAND 5 MINUTES.
  • Step 2
    PREPARE: PUDDING MIXES USING THE REMAINING 2 CUPS MILK.
  • Step 3
    ADD: RICE MIXTURE TO THE PREPARED PUDDING MIX; STIR.
  • Step 4
    COVER PUDDING WITH PLASTIC WRAP; COOL 5 MINUTES. THEN STIR.
  • Step 5
    SERVE WARM OR CHILLED.
  • Step 6
    SPRINKLE WITH GROUND CINNAMON, IF DESIRED.
