Ingredients
- - 2 tbs butter
- - 1 cup milk
- - 1 cup sugar
- - 2 cups flour
- - 1 tsp baking soda
- - 1 tsp nutmeg
- - 1 tsp cinnamon
- - 1 tsp salt
- - 1 cup raisins
- - 1 1/2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
- - 1 cup walnuts, or to taste
- - 2 cups brown sugar
- - 4 tbsp butter
- - 2 cups water
How To Make pioneer pudding

Step 1Cream butter (2 Tbsp), milk, and sugar. Add flour, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Fold in raisins, apples and nuts. Pour into a greased 9 X 13 pan. Bring the brown sugar, butter (4 Tbsp), and water to a boil. Pour over the batter int the pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
