Mama got this recipe from the Pet Milk can when I was about 6 , its been used in our family over 50 years now

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 6 large eggs , beaten
- 1 can 12 oz pet milk
- 1 can 12 oz water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 12 slices dry bread ( or enough to fill pan)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup raisins
How To Make pet milk bread pudding

Step 1Spray or butter 9x13 pan liberally , Fill pan with broken pieces of bread.

Step 2Beat eggs until frothy , ass sugar , milk , water , vanilla and melted butter and mix. Pour over bread. Evenly sprinkle raisins over bread Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon if desired .

Step 3Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to an hour or until done.
