Ingredients

  • 2 cups persimmon pulp
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

How To Make persimmon pudding

  • Step 1
    Mix together flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Combine ingredients in order given and pour into a 9x12 baking dish that has been sprayed with oil.
  • Step 3
    Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • Step 4
    Serve warm with cream, whipped cream, or ice cream.
