This recipe was passed on to me by a friend and it sounds so much like my Mothers recipe (that I can't find)...I will be trying this as soon as the season gets here.

Ingredients
- 2 cups persimmon pulp
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 stick butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup cream
How To Make persimmon pudding

Step 1combine pulp with the baking soda, mix well, add remaining ingredients, mix well, pour mixture into a 9 x 13 greased baking dish.

Step 2bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
