This recipe was passed on to me by a friend and it sounds so much like my Mothers recipe (that I can't find)...I will be trying this as soon as the season gets here.

Ingredients

2 c
persimmon pulp
1 tsp
baking soda
2 c
sugar
3 large
eggs
1 1/2 c
buttermilk
1 1/2 c
flour
1/2 tsp
nutmeg
1/8 tsp
salt
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 stick
butter
1 tsp
vanilla
1/4 c
cream

Step-By-Step

1combine pulp with the baking soda, mix well, add remaining ingredients, mix well, pour mixture into a 9 x 13 greased baking dish.
2bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
