Payesh / Kheer / Rice Pudding

Ruma Chak

I thought to start with a sweet dish that is easy to prepare. The dish is called Payesh / Kheer or you can simply call it Rice Pudding. It is one of the most relished sweet dishes from a state called 'West Bengal' from India though other parts of the country too enjoy it. Also, the dish is considered auspicious for many occasions here.

Tips: You can taste adding sugar little by little as it should not be too sweet. Also if you are using sweetend condensed milk then that would already have the sugar in that.
