This recipe is a childhood favorite from Thanksgiving when our family all merged together at one of three homes, ours, my aunt shirley's, or my aunt sue's. My mom was usually the one who made it, and we couldn't wait till Thanksgiving Day to indulge our selves with this very rich cloud of crust,pudding, and coolwhip. i hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (i prefer pecans, but you can use walnuts if you like)
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup cool whip
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding
- 1 package instant chocolate pudding
- 1 1/2 cups milk for each pudding mix

Step 1Mix the flour, butter and nuts together for the crust,and press into bottom of 13x9 cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Crust will look bubbly on top when it comes out of the oven but will set as it cools. Let cool completely

Step 2For the first layer mix together the cream cheese,powdered sugar and cool whip. when crust is cooled spread on top of crust.

Step 3Mix the vanilla pudding mix with 1 1/2 cups of milk and spread over the first layer. Mix the chocolate pudding mix with 1 1/2 cups of milk and spread over the vanilla layer. Top with remaining cool whip and decorate with Hershey Candy Bar shavings(optional). Chill until set and cut into bars. This is very rich but you will be tempted to eat much more than one bar after you have tasted it.
