Pansy's Bread Pudding
It turned out custardy on the bottom, and with chunks of 'cinnamon toast' on top
- 3/4 large
- loaf sandwich bread
- 3 Tbsp
- 1 Tbsp
- ground ginger
- 1/2 stick
- unsalted butter, cold
- 1 c
- 1 tsp
- vanilla extract
- 3 large
- 2 c
- heavy cream
How to Make Pansy's Bread Pudding
- 1Preheat oven to 350*. Spray loaf pan with non stick spray.
- 2Cube the sandwich bread and place in large bowl.
Add in cinammon, ginger and sugar. Cut butter into little chunks, add to bowl, and toss to cover with sugar and spices, place in loaf pan.
- 3Whisk eggs, vanilla and cream together and pour over bread. If necessary, use a spoon to push the bread into the eggs.
- 4Bake for an hour to an hour and a half.
