Ingredients

  • 1 - egg
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped apples
  • 1/2 cup walnut pieces
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • TOPPING
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rum

How To Make ozark pudding

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 1 qt baking dish.
  • Step 2
    With electric mixer, beat egg well; gradually add sugar, beating constantly until light and creamy.
  • Step 3
    Sift together dry ingredients; add to egg mixture, blending well.
  • Step 4
    Lightly stir in apples, walnuts and vanilla. Pour into prepared dish.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 30 minutes
  • Step 6
    Serve with whipped cream sweetened with powdered sugar and rum...YUMMMMM
