A found recipe. At the bottom of a shoe box! For got I had it. Now you can enjoy it. It makes a very refreshing desert, with or with out a whipped topping.

3 - beaten eggs
1 cup light cream
1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind
3/4 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
- dash of ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon butter

How To Make orange fool desert ...an ole english recipe

Step 1

In a saucepan, combine eggs,cream,orange peel,orange juice,sugar and nutmeg. Cook and stir over medium heat till mixture thickens slightly and coats a metal spoon, about 7 minutes (do not overcook). Remove from heat, stir in butter till melted. Pour into desert disshes.Chill. Serve.
