This is Granny Johnston's recipe. She is Daddy's Momma. We just remember having this as kids. It doesn't disappoint as an adult

Ingredients
- 4 slices toast
- 2 large eggs slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup pet milk
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup raisins
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make old fashioned bread puddin

Step 1Make your 4 slices of light toast

Step 2Cut into squares. Place squares in 8" pan and set aside. Mix water and raisins and let sit for 10 min.

Step 3Sprinkle the rest of the ingredients except the last two over bread squares. I hope you got that.

Step 4Drain Raisins and place on top. Sprinkle with last 2 ingredients. Place in oven and bake 350 degrees for approximately 30 min
