We love bread pudding . We like this one with the cinnamon bread .Its so much better.And its easy to make.

Ingredients
- 1 pound loaf of raisin or cinnamon bread
- 4to5 tablespoons soft butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 4 - eggs beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups milk, scalded
How To Make my cinnamon bread pudding

Step 1Spread sliced bread lighley with butter.Stack 3to4 slices and cut into cubes .Put into buttered 2 1/2 or 3 quart baker pan,sprinkle with chopped nuts.Beat together eggs,sugar,vanilla,and salt until well mixed.Beat in hot milk,pour over bread,making certain all bread is coated with milk mixure.

Step 2Let set at least 30 minutes until bread absorbs liguid.Bake in 350 oven 45 to 50 minutes or until set.Cool slighty before serving. Spoon over very cool whiskey sauce if desired .

Step 3MAKES 8 TO 10 SERVING ' very cool whishey sauce' stir together 1/2 pint softened vanilla ice cream and 1 tbsp whiskey. Add 1/2 cups whipped cream to softened ice cream. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
