A friend of the family gave me this recipe,she brings it to most family functions and everyone loves it. This is a very rich pudding. Paula Deen makes a similar recipe using french vanilla pudding and Pepperidge Farms Chessman cookies,which are very good too. They're a shortbread kind of cookie.

- - bananas
- - 1 large box instant vanilla pudding
- - 2 c milk
- - 8 oz pkg cream cheese, rm temp
- - 8 oz cool whip, rm temp
- - 1 can eagle brand condensed milk
- - vanilla wafers

Step 1Mix pudding as directed and add eagle brand milk(set aside). Mix cream cheese in separate bowl till smooth and creamy slowly add pudding mixture fold in cool whip. Line the bottom of a 13x9 inch dish with vanilla wafers,layer bananas on top,pour pudding mixture and cover with cookies. Chill until set.
