MR Creamy Rice Pudding
This is so good, and my family ate it up so fast.
Now that it is down to just the two of us, I still don't have any left overs.
I still keep a large box of Minute Rice in the pantry, just for this rice pudding.
- 4 c
- egg, well beaten
- 1 large
- jell-o vanilla pudding mix, cook and serve (4.6 oz) or 2 small boxes)
- do not use instant pudding mix
- 1 c
- dry minute rice
- 1/4 c
- raisins (optional)
- 1/4 tsp
- cinnamon, ground
- 1/8 tsp
How to Make MR Creamy Rice Pudding
- 1Stir milk and egg into pan.
Gradually, add pudding mix.
Stir in rice and raisins.
(As milk mixtures warms up the pudding powder will disolve.)
- 2Cook over medium heat. Stir until it boils.
Do not let it stick to bottom of pan or it will burn.
Pour into serving bowls ( 4 )
In my case, 1 small bowl for me, and the rest in a large bowl for my husband.
