Ingredients
- 1/2 - loaf of white bread
- 1/2 - loaf cinnamon bread
- 2 cups milk, scalded
- 2 - eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 pinch salt
How To Make mom's bread pudding

Step 1butter baking dish. scald milk then add vanilla and lemon extracts,sugar,salt, then add lightly beaten eggs. tear breads up and put into buttered dish then pour milk mixture over bread. you can add raisins and more cinnamon if desired.

Step 2bake at 350 degrees till golden brown.

Step 3sauce: 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, 2 tsp butter, 1tsp lemon extract. mix all ingredients in a sauce pan till it boils then pour over bread pudding..i pour extra sauce over mine when on the plate..
