momma's bananas pudding
I have been searching for this recipe for years. My mother made it for me all the time. When she died in 1996 her recipe was gone with her also until today. My mouth jumped for joy and I thought I was with my mother when I could smell and taste my childhood memories. The amount of cookies and bananas is really up to the person making it.I like alot!

Ingredients
- 4 - bananas
- 1 & 1/2 boxes vanilla wafers
- 3 cans evaporated milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 - egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
How To Make momma's bananas pudding

Step 1Put milk,sugar,egg in a saucepan and on medium heat;heat to a boil.Stiring constantly.Boil 3 minutes stirring constantly,it will thicken a little.

Step 2Remove from heat and add tablespoon vanilla extract.Set aside.

Step 3Layer a baking dish with a layer of cookies,than bananas.Pour sauce over layers. Repeat.

Step 4Set in refrig. for 1 hour at least.
