This dessert is requested a lot around our house. Easy to make and so delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 - egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • - bananas
  • - wafers

How To Make microwave banana pudding

  • Step 1
    Blend sugar, cornstarch and salt. Combine milk and egg yolks and gradually add to sugar mixture. Put in microwave safe dish and cook in 2 minute intervals, stirring "hard" after each with wire whisk.
  • Step 2
    Once mixture begins to thicken, then cook in 1 minute intervals until desired consistency; remembering to stir after each minute. Stir in butter and vanilla.
  • Step 3
    Layer between bananas and wafers. Great warm or cold.
