Ingredients
- 4 - eggs, separate out yolks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 medium lemons
- 1 package lemon jello
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
- pinch salt
- 1 box ladyfinger cookies
- 1 - container cool whip
How To Make lemon dessert, mom

Step 1Mix egg yolks, sugar, juice from the lemons and grated rind from one lemon and cook until thick over low heat. It will be like pudding. Moisten jello with water, add to pudding and refrigerate. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 4 T sugar and fold into pudding. Beat whipping cream with salt and fold in. Line sides and bottom of a cake pan with ladyfingers. Cover with pudding. Refrigerate until firm. Garnish with whipped cream and lemon slices.
