layered banana-pineapple dessert

This is like a good banana pudding with a plus. I think it is tasty anytime but makes an excellent summer dessert for cook out or get together. ENJOY

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine melted
  • 3 - dole bananas (sliced) *
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 3 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 2-4oz packages vanilla instant pudding & pie mix **
  • 1-20oz can of crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1-8oz package cool whip thawed * * *

How To Make layered banana-pineapple dessert

  • Step 1
    Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar & margarine in 13” x 9” pan. Press evenly onto bottom of pan.
  • Step 2
    Arrange banana slices on crust
  • Step 3
    Beat cream cheese in large bowl with wire whisk until smooth. Gradually beat in milk.
  • Step 4
    Add pudding mixes. Beat until well blended. Spread over banana slices.
  • Step 5
    Spoon pineapple evenly over pudding mixture. Spread whipped topping over pineapple.
  • Step 6
    Refrigerate 3 hours or until ready to serve
  • Step 7
    *You can top with banana slices for decorative purposes ** You can use sugar free/reduced calorie pudding *** You can use cool whip “lite”
