Ingredients

  • 2 box
    jello brand instant banana pudding
  • 2 box
    jello brand instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 qt
    heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp
    mccormick's natural vanilla extract
  • 2 can(s)
    bordens sweetened condensed milk
  • 4
    banana
  • 2 box
    nabisco vanilla waffers
  • 2 large
    cool whip

How to Make La Vonne's Banana Pudding

Step-by-Step

  1. Make pudding according to package replacing the milk with 1/2 sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 heavy whipping cream, mix until smooth
  2. add 2 bananas and vanilla extract and mix until pudding has stiffened
  3. take a large foil pan that is about 4 inches deep and line with waffers.
  4. crush one box of waffers into small bits of cookies & save for layering
  5. slice 2 banana into thin coin slices and set aside for layering
  6. Lay down a layer of banana pudding
  7. smooth a layer of cool whip
  8. sprinkle with cookie crumbs
  9. drop a layer of coin size banana
  10. repeat steps 6-9 making sure to finish the final layer with with remaining uncrushed cookies and bananas
  11. Sprinkle the remaining cookie crumbs on the finished pudding for garnish
  12. Refrigerate for an hour and serve
