this is a Vincent-Jackson cookout favorite. I have been told my banana pudding has change the minds of people swearing by scratch banana pudding

jello brand instant vanilla pudding
1 qt
heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp
mccormick's natural vanilla extract
2 can(s)
bordens sweetened condensed milk
2 box
nabisco vanilla waffers
2 large
cool whip

How to Make La Vonne's Banana Pudding


  • 1Make pudding according to package replacing the milk with 1/2 sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 heavy whipping cream, mix until smooth
  • 2add 2 bananas and vanilla extract and mix until pudding has stiffened
  • 3take a large foil pan that is about 4 inches deep and line with waffers.
  • 4crush one box of waffers into small bits of cookies & save for layering
  • 5slice 2 banana into thin coin slices and set aside for layering
  • 6Lay down a layer of banana pudding
  • 7smooth a layer of cool whip
  • 8sprinkle with cookie crumbs
  • 9drop a layer of coin size banana
  • 10repeat steps 6-9 making sure to finish the final layer with with remaining uncrushed cookies and bananas
  • 11Sprinkle the remaining cookie crumbs on the finished pudding for garnish
  • 12Refrigerate for an hour and serve
