jeanne's easy banana pudding
I am not normally one to use box mixes for short-cuts but this is really a very tasty and incredibly simple recipe. I taught it to my oldest grandaughter when she was @ 6 and she was so excited to make it for her Mom and Dad.

Ingredients
- 1 - lg box vanilla instant pudding
- 3 cups milk
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon salt (this really makes a difference)
- 1 - sm container of whipped topping
- 1 - bx vanilla wafers
- 3 or 4 - bananas
How To Make jeanne's easy banana pudding

Step 1In a medium bowl, mix the pudding mix, salt and milk until smooth. Let sit for @ 15 minutes.

Step 2Gently fold in the Cool Whip until mixed.

Step 3Place a layer of Vanilla Wafers on the bottom of an 8 x 8 square cake pan.

Step 4Place a layer of sliced bananas on the wafers.

Step 5Pour a layer of vanilla pudding over the wafers and bananas.

Step 6Repeat these layers until all of the pudding has been used.

Step 7Place a layer of vanilla wafers on top of the final layer of pudding.

Step 8Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours or until cooled and firmly set.

Step 9Garnish each serving with whipped topping and a vanilla wafer.
