Ingredients
- 2/3 cup yellow corn meal
- 4 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make indian pudding

Step 1Preheat oven to 325

Step 2Scald 3 1/2 cups milk in top of a double boiler over direct heat.

Step 3Mix cornmeal with remaining 1 cup cold milk. Add to scalding milk, stirring constantly; place over boiling water to cook for 20 mins, stirring frequently.

Step 4Add butter, molasses, salt, sugar & cinnamon. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish.

Step 5Bake at 325 to 350 for 1 1/2 hours. May be served with cream or vanilla ice cream.
