How to Make Indian Pudding
- Preheat oven to 325
- Scald 3 1/2 cups milk in top of a double boiler over direct heat.
- Mix cornmeal with remaining 1 cup cold milk. Add to scalding milk, stirring constantly; place over boiling water to cook for 20 mins, stirring frequently.
- Add butter, molasses, salt, sugar & cinnamon. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
- Bake at 325 to 350 for 1 1/2 hours. May be served with cream or vanilla ice cream.
