How to Make Indian Pudding
- 1Preheat oven to 325
- 2Scald 3 1/2 cups milk in top of a double boiler over direct heat.
- 3Mix cornmeal with remaining 1 cup cold milk. Add to scalding milk, stirring constantly; place over boiling water to cook for 20 mins, stirring frequently.
- 4Add butter, molasses, salt, sugar & cinnamon. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
- 5Bake at 325 to 350 for 1 1/2 hours. May be served with cream or vanilla ice cream.
