In a medium sized sauce pan add the flour, salt, milk and sugar. Cook on medium heat stirring often til sauce thickens. (I stir with a whisk)
Once mixture thickens remove from heat
Temper your eggs and add to pudding mixture and cook an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
add bananas and vanilla and now would be the time to add vanilla wafers if you like. I like to eat mine hot but you could also refrigerate it and eat it later.
