How to Make Honey Baked Custard, Low Fat Dessert
- 1Beat eggs together with honey and salt. Add milk and beat well to mix. pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole or individual custard cups. Set in a larger pan of hot water. Water should reach (on the outside) up 1/2 way to top of custard dish.
- 2Sprinkle top of custard with a little nutmeg. Carefully set whole thing into the oven and bake until a knife inserted in the center of a custard comes out clean, about 35 minutes. (Smaller dishes will bake faster.) Serve with low fat whipped topping.
