homemade vanilla raisin pudding
Once you have had homemade pudding you will never want any other kind. This is a recipe my mom always made for our family. I have made some slight changes.

- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/4 cups nonfat milk
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
- 3/4 cup raisins
How To Make homemade vanilla raisin pudding

Step 1Combine the first 6 ingredients in a pan using a whisk making sure there are no lumps.

Step 2Add the raisins. Cook the pudding on medium heat until it thickens, stirring constantly. The pudding is done once it thickens.

Step 3Remove from heat and add the vanilla. Mix well. Pour individual servings into dessert bowls. So the pudding does not form a skin on its surface, place plastic food wrap on the surface of the pudding.
