How to Make Homemade Flan
- In a heavy saucepan, cook and stir sugar and water over medium-high heat until boiling,once boiling reduce to medium -low heat and let stand **DONT NOT MIX** til sugar turns dark brown, about 15 minutes. Careful not to burn. Quickly pour into an ungreased pie pan or souffle dish, tilting to coat the bottom; let stand for 10 minutes.
