this new bread pudding recipe,you gonna try,is filled with salted butterscotch,it's great with a glass of milk.

Ingredients

  • 4 - stale french breads,cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup chopped chocolate covered almonds
  • 4 cups cold milk
  • 2 tablespoons malted milk powder
  • 5 - egg whites
  • 1 cup butterscotch ice cream topping
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips
  • CREAM OF SALTED BUTTERSCOTCH
  • 1/2 cup margarine,melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch syrup
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt

How To Make salted butterscotch bread pudding

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Coat a 9 x 13 -inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Put bread pieces in large mixing bowl.Add crushed pretzels and chopped chocolate covered almonds
  • Step 3
    In medium mixing bowl,whisk together milk,malted milk powder,egg whites,butterscotch ice cream topping and sea salt;whisk well until blended.
  • Step 4
    Pour butterscotch milk mixture all over the bread mixture,tossing it gently.Pour into prepared baking dish.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle with butterscotch chips.
  • Step 6
    Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for additional 30-35 minutes.Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the bread pudding is golden brown.
  • Step 7
    To make Cream of Salted Butterscotch:combine melted margarine and heavy cream in medium saucepan over medium heat.Stir in butterscotch syrup and sea salt;mix together until smooth.Remove from heat.
  • Step 8
    Pour over the bread pudding.Serve warm.
