1Soak bread in scalded milk for 5 minutes.
2Add sugar,butter,and salt.
3Add beaten eggs and vanilla and mix well.
4Fold in raisins and mix well.Can add more raisins if you'd like.
5Pour into greased baking dish.
6Put a pan of water on bottom rack under bread pudding.
7Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour until firm.
