Ingredients
- 4 cups bread, white
- 2 cups scalded milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 - eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup raisins
How To Make helen's bread pudding

Step 1Soak bread in scalded milk for 5 minutes.

Step 2Add sugar,butter,and salt.

Step 3Add beaten eggs and vanilla and mix well.

Step 4Fold in raisins and mix well.Can add more raisins if you'd like.

Step 5Pour into greased baking dish.

Step 6Put a pan of water on bottom rack under bread pudding.

Step 7Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour until firm.
