How to Make Helen's Bread Pudding


  1. Soak bread in scalded milk for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar,butter,and salt.
  3. Add beaten eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  4. Fold in raisins and mix well.Can add more raisins if you'd like.
  5. Pour into greased baking dish.
  6. Put a pan of water on bottom rack under bread pudding.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour until firm.
