Nonna Rosa's Bread Pudding
2 cday old bread (or end of a loaf)
3/4 cwhite sugar (reserve 1/4 cup to sprinkle top before cooking)
1/4 ccinnamon, ground
1 tspvanilla extract
1 1/2 c2% milk
How to Make Nonna Rosa's Bread Pudding
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
8x8 ungreased baking pan.
- Tear bread into small pieces...in large mixing bowl combine all ingredients and mix well.
( You can add nuts fruit or raisins to this mixture if desired)
Sprinkle top with reserved sugar to form sweet crust as it bakes.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes...until bread pudding rises and is firm.
Serve warm with butter.
