Ingredients
- 2 cups day old bread (or end of a loaf)
- 3/4 cup white sugar (reserve 1/4 cup to sprinkle top before cooking)
- 1/4 cup cinnamon, ground
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 - (whole eggs)
- 1 1/2 cups 2% milk
How To Make nonna rosa's bread pudding

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. 8x8 ungreased baking pan.

Step 2Tear bread into small pieces...in large mixing bowl combine all ingredients and mix well. ( You can add nuts fruit or raisins to this mixture if desired) Sprinkle top with reserved sugar to form sweet crust as it bakes.

Step 3Bake for 40-50 minutes...until bread pudding rises and is firm. Serve warm with butter.
